Incredible views from the room and a unique outdoor shower.
I didn't appreciate the lack of bathroom privacy. it was rather uncomfortable. There were also enormous spiders in my room that made me feel uneasy. Plus, the nearby roosters crowing early in the morning were extremely disruptive to my sleep.

The stunning views from the room and during breakfast made every moment unforgettable. The hospitality from the hosts was exceptional, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment, which added to the overall experience. The unique offerings at dinner, especially the smoked salmon, showcased incredible culinary skills. Even though the area is quiet, nearby shops and the ability to walk to a livelier village made it easy to enjoy the surroundings.

The location offers stunning views that can’t be beaten, especially from the balcony. The outdoor shower is a unique touch, providing a refreshing experience with nature.
Be ready for an early morning chorus of loud roosters if you’re a light sleeper. ear plugs are advisable. spider encounters can be a hassle. my room had its share of enormous spiders, while the scorpion hiding in my clothes was a bit too close for comfort. The hotel is somewhat isolated with a 15-minute walk or a short, paid lấy from the dock, which isn’t ideal for everyone. The property is built on a hillside, so expect quite a few steps to navigate around.

Couple looking for a unique experience
We enjoyed fantastic dinners with the owners Johan and Gaby, it felt like we were having a meal with family. The views from our room were amazing, waking up to volcano Fuego erupting in the distance was lovely.
It wasn't inexpensive but still reasonable given the experience.

unforgettable glamping experience with breathtaking views and the perfect outdoor movie night under the stars
El Picnic Atitlan is a hidden gem with stunning views that took my breath away. Gaby and Jochen are incredibly warm hosts who made us feel right at home. I loved waking up to the gentle sounds of nature and enjoying unique breakfasts overlooking the lake. The intimate setting, with only a few accommodations, allowed for special conversations and memories with fellow guests. The food was simply delightful, especially the homemade dinners. I can’t wait to return!
